Peace Nobel Prize Winner

Welcome to my Blog, I'm a twelfth grade student at the school Francisco Mendoza, where i'm learning English as a foreing language. I'm going to talk about Martin Luther King Jr., Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. The reason which he got that award was for his nonviolent campaign against racism. I think it was worthy of the same because it was the one who stood up against the government against the discrimination of which they were victims, not caring that enemies will win in the process, which were many. Thanks to the campaign, which consisted of a march to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, the current president, Lyndon B. Johnson, imposed a law which forbade racial discrimination in the United States. Thanks to him today we are not judged by our color, but we can live with one another without giving importance to skin color.
